Do I have to take all my clothes off when taking a chest x-ray?

X-rays cannot wear clothes with metal materials, including metal buttons, zippers, etc. You don’t need to take off all your clothes, but women’s underwear is mostly metal.
The CT examination only requires that there should be no metal objects, because it will develop on the film and affect the image results. There is no need to strip off at all, just remove the metal jewelry and put on clothes without metal.

It is generally recommended to wear a hospital gown/compassionate. Don’t have metal, plastic buckles, these things really interfere.
