X-ray image intensifier Tube is an image intensifier which can transform the invisible X-ray image into visible image and enhance the brightness of the image.

The main technical parameters of image intensifier include field of view, conversion coefficient, image resolution, image contrast and X-ray absorptivity.

The field of view is the maximum size of the input image displayed on the output screen for X-ray irradiation with parallel axis of the image intensifier tube at a certain electrode voltage.

Conversion coefficient refers to the ratio of the X-ray irradiation rate of the output screen to the input screen, which is called the conversion coefficient of the enhancement tube. It is expressed by GX, and is mainly used to measure the enhancement efficiency of the enhancement tube.
