X-ray image intensifier is an image intensifier which can transform the invisible X-ray image into visible image and enhance the brightness of the image.

The main technical parameters of image intensifier tube include field of view, conversion coefficient, image resolution, image contrast and X-ray absorptivity.

Image resolution mainly refers to the logarithm of black and white lines that can be seen in the width of 1 mm by using resolution test card under appropriate conditions. The measured line logarithm is called image resolution. Generally, it can reach about 3LP/mm, and the central part can reach 5LP/mm. The resolution of the central part of the image intensifier tube is higher than that of the edge part.
